Another long weekend for me, which was enjoyable, and I also managed to get most things done :) Headed into Fremantle on Friday, although not much there in the way of shopping really. Looking for a new phone as well, currently thinking of the Samsung C3050, although I'm not sure on a few things... The vote on Daylight Savings here in WA was yesterday as well, and thankfully everyone voted no :)

Work suddenly went downhill :( There's a new hire a few weeks ago, made with the best of intentions, to help me out and replace a couple of less reliable people, but the new guy is not only absolutely useless, he is incredibly annoying and has just made things more stressful :( He's friends with the boss too, which means I can't really just get rid of him. Hopefully I'll be able to slowly reduce his hours until he is forced to quit himself...

Been keeping busy though, Easter break is coming up, which should be good. Of course I'll eat entirely too much chocolate :(

Got back from Melbourne last weekend, had an excellent time, it's a great city. Getting used to being back home again, start work again at the beginning of February, which I'm not looking forward to, but I'll see how it goes. Watching a lot of TV, reading, going out to the city a bit as well, shopping as usual :)

Had a great Christmas and heading towards the New Year now, its just so nice having more than a day or two off at a time :) Brought a new camera the other day in the boxing day sales as well which is keeping me amused. This may or may not be my last post before I head off to Melbourne for a (nearly) two week holiday, so unless I find something more to post next week, I won't be back until the second half of January.

For today though, I'm only just now starting to watch the latest season of Heroes, I'm up to episode two, and it of course has reignited my interest in Milo.

I can't believe how quickly time is going by, nearly Christmas, my holiday and break, a few other things coming up, so I'm looking forward to that. Also been getting quite a bit done lately as well.

I brought GTV IV for the PC on the weekend, and while it's a great game and I'm looking forward to playing with it, it's let down a lot by the crap it installs (Games for Windows Live/Social Club), and the fact that its got terrible performance and bugs. While I wasn't expecting to use high settings, even with everything on the lowest it's still barely playable, while San Andreas worked great on the highest settings. A bit disappointing, but Rockstar are apparently working on a patch.

Not long until Christmas now. Unfortunately I have a management meeting at work tomorrow - hopefully nothing bad comes up there :)
